Parent Information
Welcome to St. Andrew’s Youth Ministry!
We’re so glad you’re here! At St. Andrew’s, we believe that parents are the most important influence in a young person’s faith journey. Our goal is to partner with you in helping your child grow in their relationship with Jesus and their understanding of the Catholic faith.
Our Approach to Ministry
We know that every young person’s faith journey is unique. That’s why our ministry is focused on meeting youth where they are—whether they’re just starting to explore their faith, full of questions, or ready to deepen their commitment to Christ. Through engaging programs, authentic relationships, and opportunities to encounter God’s love, we aim to create a supportive and welcoming space for every student.
What We Offer
- Faith Formation: Our youth ministry provides a safe and engaging environment where teens can explore their faith, ask tough questions, and grow closer to Christ.
- Small Group Mentorship: With dedicated leaders who walk alongside them, students build meaningful connections and learn how to live out their faith in daily life.
- Confirmation Preparation: We guide students through the process of preparing for the Sacrament of Confirmation, ensuring they understand its significance and are ready to embrace the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
- Community and Service: From fun social events to service projects, we help youth connect with their peers, serve others, and experience the joy of living out their faith.
Your Role as a Parent
We’re here to support you as the primary faith leader in your child’s life. Throughout the year, we’ll provide resources, communication, and opportunities for you to stay informed and involved in your child’s spiritual growth. Together, we can inspire a lasting love for Christ and His Church.
Confirmation Preparation Program
The Sacrament of Confirmation is a significant milestone in your teen’s faith journey. Our program is designed to help them understand and embrace this sacrament through:
- Interactive lessons on the Catholic faith.
- Opportunities to experience prayer and the sacraments.
- Community-building activities with their peers.
- Service projects that teach the importance of living out their faith.
We encourage parents to take an active role in this process, attending parent meetings and engaging in conversations about faith at home. Together, we’ll ensure that your child is fully prepared to receive this important sacrament.
