A straight answer
Jesus is not only a wise teacher or distant religious figure. He is God who became human, knows us, and invites us into real friendship with him.
The heart of Christianity is a person: Jesus Christ.
Try this
Read one Gospel scene this week. Ask: What does this show me about Jesus?
Question worth asking
Jesus gave his Church a real ministry of forgiveness. In Confession, you name what is true, receive absolution, and begin again with grace. The priest is there to serve Christ's mercy, not to be shocked by you.

God, help me to know you more clearly, love you more deeply, and follow you today. Amen.
